Position:
Vice President

How does your position express or serve the mission of UUFH?

The Vice President serves a 3 year Board of Directors term, first as VP, then as President, and finally as Past President. The Vice President is a stand-in for the President when needed, chairs the coordinating body, the Council of Committees, studies board operations and issues in order to provide leadership in the following year.

A Few Words about Your Background and Interests (optional):

Brought up Methodist, I joined the UUFH in 2007. My business career spans more than 40 years as a teacher, manager and finally, business owner. I have strong interests in several areas of craftsmanship including ceramics, photography and musical instrument building

What is it about Unitarian Universalism that really makes a difference in your life?

I sought a spiritual foundation win which to travel my own path and experience the fellowship and support of folk with similar interests and aspiration. After many years of searching I have found that home at UUFH. The church also gives me opportunities to serve and a time in my life when that is both possible and rewarding.
